  • Photo of Moon of the Crusted Snow Novel Study by West Coast Pages

I thoroughly enjoyed utilizing the resources from the "Novel Study Indigenous Literature: Moon of the Crusted Snow." It greatly aided me in creating engaging lessons and activities that my students genuinely enjoyed. The materials provided a rich foundation for exploring themes, characters, and cultural elements present in the novel.

  • The kids liked this and learned a lot. It was a great way of breaking down the TRC document which is too big and unweildly for grade 9s on its own. A bit of a scramble for me to update the key, as these things change so fast (ie - how many calls to action have been implemented). I broke mine into groups and then they presented their answers to each other. I'll definitely use this again.

  • This is a great resource for my students! They're not big fans of ELA in general, but these resources helped make our novel study unit a success.
